What do the words “only human” mean to you?

To me only human means that no matter what anybody is going through, no matter what you look like, no matter your gender, or color, or your financial status, we are all the same and it is going to be okay, because we are only human.

What are you passionate about?

I’m very passionate about my job (Emergency Room Tech) and helping those who need help. I’m also very passionate about continuing my career and being their for my friends and family when they need someone to lean on.

What makes you the happiest?

The number one thing that makes me happy is my family. Without them I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Some other things that make me happy are the beach, my job, and karaoke nights with my friends!

In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?

Learning to believe in myself has been the thing that has improved my life the most.

How do you keep yourself positively inspired during overwhelming times?

Quotes! I’m very big in looking up inspirational quotes and looking deep into them. Also my nieces and nephews. Those tiny humans keep me going! Seeing their faces and listening to their silly jokes make me smile no matter what kind of day I’m having and I know right then everything will be okay.

If you could spend a day in someone else’s shoes, whose would they be? Why?

Definitely my Papa! My Papa was such a great man! Always helping those in need and loved his family more than anything. His legacy will live on for as long as I live!

What book (or books) have greatly influenced your life?

I don’t read much, but I do listen to music a lot! The song that has greatly influenced my life is Bluebird by Miranda Lambert. That song to me lets me know that no matter what you go though in life you’re stronger and will get through it!

What’s your favorite quote?

This quote keeps me going! I always look at this and remember that these hard times are going to make me a strong person!

What would be your advice to a human who just graduated from high school and was about to enter the “real world”?

Don’t give up! This world is a hard place to live in and you will have to jump through many obstacles to get where you want to be, but will be totally worth it in the end!
