A Need to Remember

What do the words "only human" mean to you?

The words “only human” mean a few things to me, but most importantly, it is a reminder that we need to remember that we are all only human; that not being “perfect” is okay. It’s human to feel, hurt, cry, scream and have bad days. It’s human to not be okay every single day. It’s human to be completely awesome and celebrate the best of days. We put so much pressure on fitting into what society wants us to be, that we forget that being “only human” is more than enough.

“Only human” also means to me that this entire world; the entire planet Earth is composed of humans. No labels needed. We are all, Only Human.

What are you passionate about?

I’m passionate about helping others and finding ways to allow my music to do just that. I’m passionate about life and love. I’m passionate about building a kinder world to live in.

How do you keep yourself positively inspired during overwhelming times?

What keeps me positively inspired during these times is music and the love that surrounds me.  Everything negative comes to an end, we just need to trust the process and be mindful of the beautiful moments that we are given.

What would be your advice to a human who just graduated from high school and was about to enter the "real world"?

The advice I would give to a newly graduated human, is to be true to you. There is a place for you. Work hard and never give up on your dreams, even if no one is there to support you. Always love yourself, because you are awesome! The world may not always be kind, but stay kind because the world needs it. It’s okay to not be okay, but always remember, that the world is a much better place with you in it.
