Foster kid

I was put in the the foster system at the age of 6. I was abused by my mother’s boyfriend to the point I was hospitalized and am now completely deaf in my right ear. I believed I was being put into a safe place when I was taken away from my broken home. In the system, the abuse just escalated by my so called “parents” and I was then sexually abused by people who were supposed to be brothers.

At the age of 14, I finally got my self out of the foster care system and out on my own. I’ve grown up to be a husband, a father, and most importantly, ME. I use my past as a way to be a better version of myself and to help me grow. Never give up.
