My passions are: Using art to convey emotions that I have kept locked away for years, being a voice for others since no one deserves to be muted, giving my 110% best to every task at hand, and most importantly, always inventing the best version of myself and those around me. In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?
Being raised by an abusive father, I felt like I owed him everything for that is what he raised me into believe. However, one night I discovered a song by the artist Seinabo Sey. The song is called, “I Owe You Nothing” and it really helped me. It helped me realize, that I truly don’t owe him anything. Ever since I learned that, it has helped me say “No” to people who try to take advantage of me. It is truly empowering and has helped me in so many ways. The best way it has helped me is by create relationships with better people in my life and for that I am eternally thankful.
