Serving others

As a volunteer firefighter and a registered nurse I serve people just about everyday. I love both of my jobs. The satisfaction of helping others and having everyone’s back means more than the world to me. My squad at the fire station is my family, is a brotherhood that is unbreakable. We will risk our lives for those who needs us and for each other within a blink of an eye. I volunteer to do this because it is something I believe should be out of the goodness of my heart, no pay needed. I have scars, awards, heart break, stories, memories from all the fires I have been involved in. We do this for you. We go through a lot. But we are always more than happy to lend a helping hand. Thank you to all the fellow firefighters out there. Keep serving others.
