The Pain of Knowing

Earlier this year, my girlfriend left me to go back to her ex-husband. Although I’ve been very candid about the struggles I’ve been going through in my blog about it, I’ve never told everyone that fact so people didn’t hate her for it (because I myself am struggling to not hate her for it). I met my ex-gf through a viral video, and we formed a life together. Only Human was a big deal for us, as we both bonded over the fact that we are fans of what it stands for. Our house was FULL of Only Human shirts and swag. After she left me, I sold almost all of my stuff (including my house) and now have been sleeping in friends spare bedrooms as rental houses are scarce. At first I was going to travel the US and blog my experience but, once again COVID made that almost impossible. I’m still picking up the pieces of my shattered life, but slowly I’m finding traction on where I should go and what I should do.
