I bought the stay; shirt. I’m so saddened to watch so many of my friends from the LGBTQ+ community as well as my cisgender friends deal with the world we live in. I had to call the police to go to a friends house a state away because she was actively making an apparatus to hang herself from her garage ceiling because her family will not accept her sexuality. They saved her life that day but I wonder and worry every day that “this” will be the day she doesn’t call. Maybe, just maybe, this shirt will serve as an inspiration to those I see on the street, the supermarket, out running errands or at the gym.
