OH Nashville Volunteer Meet Up!
Join us on the afternoon of the 25th to help at The Oasis Center from 2:30 – 4:30 pm!
Located in Nashville, Oasis Center is a nationally-recognized organization on a mission to help young people in Middle Tennessee move into a happy, healthy, and productive adulthood. Their philosophy is simple: Rather than viewing youth as passive recipients, we see them as full stakeholders who hold the keys to addressing some of the most challenging problems facing our city, including violence reduction, improved graduation rates, bullying prevention, discrimination, intolerance, and more.
We will be volunteering time to their Threads-n-Treads program. It is the clothes closet at Oasis which provides youth in their programs—primarily those experiencing homelessness—the opportunity to pick out clean clothes that are in good shape. This space gets a lot of love, and sometimes that starts to show, so volunteers help reorganize the space so that it is welcoming for their young people.
PLEASE RSVP to give us a good idea of how many awesome humans we can expect. ALL are welcome – so grab a friend, cousin, aunt, etc. to come with!
On the day of, simply arrive and say you are with Molly Brown.
Can’t wait to see you there! 🤟
