All For Love Writing Contest
Have you ever read a book and wished that it had LGBTQ+ representation? As part of our Pride Cause Campaign, we're asking YOU to submit your own LGBTQ-inclusive rewrite of the back cover, abstract, summary, or scene of a popular book. Think The Great Gatsby, but queer!
Entry is easy and FREE!
About The Contest
Unfortunately, LGBTQ+ characters in books are not always the most common. This is especially true when you consider classic works of literature that are taught in school.
We are running a cause campaign with Pride and Less Prejudice, a non-profit organization that sends LGBTQ-inclusive books to elementary schools across the United States and Canada. From April through the month of June, 10% of our proceeds will go to Pride and Less Prejudice so they can send even more LGBTQ-inclusive books to kiddos in the United States and Canada.
In addition, we want to hear from YOU about what classic works of literature, young adult novels, or children’s books should be rewritten to be LGBTQ-inclusive. What would it look like to make the Harry Potter series LGBTQ-inclusive? We have a challenge for you that we hope you accept!
You can submit your own LGBTQ-inclusive rewrite of the back cover, abstract, summary, or scene of a popular book. We’ll read the submissions, and if we choose yours, you’ll win a free piece of merch from Only Human, two books from Pride and Less Prejudice, and your rewrite will be featured in our campaign.
