Whatever Changed

In Stories by StoriesLeave a Comment

For a long time I had no idea who I was. First I was a victim, then a survivor. Then I became a wife and a mother. And there I was at the age of 33 stuck at a point I never thought I could leave. Then somehow things changed. I can’t really tell what changed inside me, but whatever changed , it set me free.

I know there are a lot of people out there going through the same journey as I do. Trying to leave the demons, the past behind and trying to break the cycle.
I’m at the point in my life now, where I can say that I made it out of that hell I was born into.
It was one hell of a journey, with more downs then ups, but here I am.
And for the first time in my life I’m proud of who I’m and I can finally say it out loud.

And I Am:
I’m 34.
I’m bisexual.
I’m a woman with tattoos.
I’m a women with hearing aids.
I’m a Mom to a wonderful son with ADHD.
I’m married to an amazing man, my best friend, my soulmate, who accepts me for who I’m.
I’m strong.
I’m finally free.
