What do the words "only human" mean to you?

Only human means that we are all the same. We breathe, we live, we go through/overcome struggles. We have to help each other out and be there for one another.

What are you passionate about?

I love what I do, and that’s teaching kids to swim and the importance of safety in and around the water.

What makes you the happiest?

My dog, my family, being out in nature, trying new foods, seeing live music and going on adventures.

In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?

Take care of yourself. It’s important. Do things that make you happy.

How do you keep yourself positively inspired during overwhelming times?

I take a minute to escape to nature (beach, forrest, exploring a new park) and focus on what is good in my life and what is around me. It’s not easy. But one breath at a time.

If you could spend a day in someone else’s shoes, whose would they be? Why?

Michelle Obama. She does great things for the children, the future and has an amazing platform for her voice to be heard.

What would be your advice to a human who just graduated from high school and was about to enter the "real world"?

Don’t be afraid to do things by yourself. Life won’t stop or wait for you to find the right moment to enjoy!
