Coming out to my mom

It really all started in 9th grade. I was bi and had two boyfriends throughout high school, but after my second boyfriend I didn’t quite feel a connection with guys anymore. I was confused about my sexuality for a long time during high school, but I’m glad I figured it out after I graduated.

I was in the closet for 5 years and I wasn’t comfortable coming out yet. I am 19 and I wanted to wait until I was a little older to let the world know who I was. One day I saw my mom followed me on TikTok and that’s when the truth finally came out. I’m happy to say she has supported me, but she is the only person in my family that knows. I am proud to be gay and nothing will ever change that
