What do the words “only human” mean to you?

The words “Only Human” to me means, that no matter what, to not be so quick judge someone based on their identity, differences, mistakes, flaws, choices, etc. Everyone is not the same, nor has everyone been through and experience the same things. It’s important to remember that because in the end we are “Only Human”.

What are you passionate about?

I am passionate about fishing, boating & the medical field. After a long day and every off day all I want to do is be out on the boat relaxing and casting a reel! Also, I am very passionate about my job & the medical field. My ultimate goal is after the military to be a NICU/NEONATAL Nurse!

What makes you the happiest?

My wife & family. Without them I do not know where I would be. I have slowly become a better version of myself and my wife and family have been my motivation and my biggest supporters.

Oh & my dogs!

In the last five years, what new belief, behavior, or habit has most improved your life?

In the last 5 years, learning to forgive has most improved my life.

How do you keep yourself positively inspired during overwhelming times?

I just think back on all the difficult times and how every single time it always got better. That I just have to push through it a little longer.

If you could spend a day in someone else’s shoes, whose would they be? Why?

My mom. She has Multiple Sclerosis & has been wheelchair bound for awhile now. I know as much as I can hypothetically put myself in her shoes it would never be the same. I feel that being in her shoes and seeing how hard things are would better help me understand things to do and the best ways to help her. It would also teach me not to take things that are easy & normal for me (someone completely mobile) for granted.

What book (or books) have greatly influenced your life?

I’ve never really been a big reader. However, the one that comes to mind is “Just Mercy”.

What’s your favorite quote?

“God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference”

What is your most-used emoji?

😂

What would be your advice to a human who just graduated from high school and was about to enter the “real world”?

Be true to yourself and follow your dreams.
